At Souldance Wellness, we are happy to provide patients in the Central Oregon area with non-surgical management of aesthetic issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, dark spots, spider veins, telangectasias, hyperhydrosis, angiomas and unwanted hair. Our skilled professionals provide botox injections and utilize Morpheus 8, Lumecca, Diolaze and Vasculaze in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Botox, or onabotulinumtoxin A, has a long history of use to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. While it has FDA indications for medical purposes, it is also indicated for the treatment of forehead lines, frown lines and crow's feet. We are happy to provide this service for patients who need and desire treatment for both cosmetic and medical reasons. Contact us to find out more and set up a consultation.
What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a new subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD) that fractionally remodels and contours the face and body. Morpheus8 remodels the aging face or body into a more desired smooth and sleek appearance. Morpheus8 has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than any other microneedling device, going as deep as 5mm. The design of this device optimizes patient comfort while maximizing results, combining radiofrequency and microneedling into one procedure. M8 can be used for treating wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, surgical scars and more. Contact us to set up a free consultation and see if Morpheus8 is right for your needs.
What areas can be treated?
Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the lower face and neck. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment.
How quickly will I see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
How long should I wait in between treatments?
What is Fractionated Energy?
Fractionated RF energy is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles and rebuild collagen and fat. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro pins to renew deeper layers of the skin with almost no downtime.
What is the benefit of RF Energy?
RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to revitalize the collagen. The treatment will improve skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.
Can anyone use Morpheus?
The benefit of Morpheus8’s technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.
What can I expect after treatment?
Since downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. You should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
What kind of post-procedure care is required?
You should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
What is Lumecca?
Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. After just one use, patients notice significant improvements in the complexion and clarity of the skin. Lumecca operates using photothermolysis, which provides a photo facial through the delivery of a comfortable light treatment.
Patients who have age spots, sun damage, vessels and rosacea can expect superior clearance in 1-3treatment versus 4-6 compared to the standard IPL. Most patients who are exposed to the sun for long periods of time will notice brown spots appear along their face, chest, hands and other parts of their body. This is common; however, most patients do seek treatment in our office to rid of these blemishes. Whether your areas of concern are brown or red, our IPL can exceed your expectations in getting the clearance you desire. Contact us to set up a free consultation and see if Lumecca is right for you.
What are the benefits?
In just 1-3 sessions Lumecca improves the appearance of:
•Age spots (red/brown pigmentations)
•Vascular lesions such as facial telangiectasias (spider veins) and poikiloderma
Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. The most common areas of treatment are zones that are regularly exposed to the sun. This often includes the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands and arms
What is DiolazeXL?
DiolazeXL is an advanced laser hair removal procedure that safely and gently eliminates unwanted hair. DiolazeXL has one of the largest treatment spot sizes, making treatments convenient and fast. The combination of efficacy, patient comfort and speed makes DiolazeXL a leader in laser hair removal. It is powerful enough to target and treat even the most stubborn hair.
How does DiolazeXL work?
During laser treatment, a diode laser beam passes through the skin towards hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, which in turn prevents future hair growth.
Does it hurt?
DiolazeXL has a built-in skin cooling surface which is one of the largest for all hair removal devices. This makes treatment more comfortable than other devices, with most patients noting that DiolazeXL is virtually painless.
As with all laser hair removal methods, DiolazeXL requires a series of treatments. Laser hair removal works best when hair follicles are in their mature stage; however, at any given time your hair is in various stages of growth.
Hair is reduced with each treatment and results are observed after four to six sessions. The number of sessions will differ depending on your hair color, hair type, body area, and skin tone.
What is Vasculaze?
Vascular lesions, spider veins or port wine stains can all be effectively treated with Vasculaze. Optimized with high peak power, Vasculaze targets hemoglobin appropriately so patients achieve a fast and safe treatment. Using a strong contact cooling mechanism, patients can expect to have a comfortable treatment with minimal discomfort. Lesions can be very visible (long and bulging) or spider veins, which are smaller, finer and shorter (lines or web-like). Vasculaze can help alleviate a wide variety of facial and leg vein issues with a laser that is targeted to treat the blood vessel causing the blemish. Vasculaze has a specially designed head that is built to pinpoint the vein or vein network, making treatments precise and safe. The technology in the Vasculaze sends pulses of light onto the vein, which makes the vein slowly fade and disappear, preventing the need for unpleasant incisions and needles.
What types of veins can be treated? We will provide an assessment of your vascular lesions. In general, the recommended types of vascular veins to treat are: facial and spider veins, port wine stains, leg veins, telangiectasias and angiomas. Varicose veins are typically larger and are not suitable for Vasculaze.
What areas can be treated?
More common areas of Vasculaze treatment include: face, décolleté, arms, upper thighs, back of thighs, and the lower legs.
How many sessions are required?
Typically, three sessions are performed, however, some lesions may require more. Gradual improvements in the treatment area can be seen following the first treatment–with the skin’s surface looking clearer as treatments progress.
What is the recovery?
Vasculaze is a quick procedure, taking only a few seconds per vein treated. Patients can come into the office and leave within minutes, depending on how extensive the vein or vein network is. You may need to avoid activities that increase blood flow, such as heavy exercise, for a few days to a week depending on the area you had treated. Areas treated should stay out of sunlight and be protected with sunblock.
